Monthly discussion to focus on Changes to FDA Access to Records Under FSMA, Record Keeping and Format Requirements and Much More – Including Interactive Participant Q&A
SafetyChain Software’s popular FSMA Fridays series, featuring Dr. David Acheson and The Acheson Group’s food safety team, will be held this Friday, May 30 at 9:00 a.m. PT. This month’s FSMA Fridays discussion will focus on changes to FDA access to records under FSMA, what the process for requesting records will be and what companies need to do to prepare.
FSMA Fridays – launched by SafetyChain Software, innovators of realtime Food Safety Chain Management Systems (FSCMS) that automate, streamline and improve™ food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) while promoting regulatory, GFSI and customer compliance – provides 1500+ participants from the food and beverage industry monthly, live updates and practical advice to prepare for FSMA.
Discussion topics during the May 30 FSMA Fridays session will include:
- What does FSMA change in terms of FDA record access? And why did this change happen?
- Does FDA need to issue some formal request, or what is the process?
- How long does a company have to provide the records
- What can the FDA ask for versus not? Is there a list?
- Do the records have to be in a particular format, submitted electronically or?
As always, the FSMA Friday session will begin with an overall FSMA update and the team will take questions live from participants.
Registration is free for interested parties. When participants register they also receive links to past session recordings, which have included topics on Audists, Supply Chain Controls, Sanitary Transport Rule, Foreign Supplier & 3rd Party Auditor Rules, Produce Rules, Preventive Controls for Human Food, Environmental Control Systems and more.
