SafetyChain’s Food Safety Chain Management technology will help ADL automate FSQA compliance, Canadian HACCP program, food safety audits and more
SafetyChain Software – the leader in realtime Food Safety Chain Management Systems (FSCMS) that help customers save time, save money and increase efficiencies for food safety and quality compliance – is pleased to announce that Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL), a major Canadian dairy producer with products sold across Canada and to US, Asian and Caribbean markets, has selected SafetyChain Software as its partner for a series of food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) automation initiatives.
ADL will be using SafetyChain’s FSCMS, SafetyChain for Food, to:
- Automate management of its supplier compliance programs
- Eliminate manual processes and create a central repository of FSQA data for trending, continuous improvement and on-demand audit readiness
- Dramatically reduce the manual processes required for compliance with its Canadian HACCP program and other regulatory requirements
- Automate compliance with its GFSI BRC scheme
- Capture food safety and quality data in the timeliest manner possible for early corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
ADL selected SafetyChain due to its:
- Comprehensive suite of FSQA functionality
- Flexible configurability to manage ADL’s FSQA processes
- Cloud based design which provides a lower cost of ownership plus a highly secure yet accessible environment for suppliers and labs to send data
- Strong FSQA knowledge and responsiveness of the SafetyChain team
Jim Bradley, ADL’s CEO and General Manager, explained, “Here at ADL, we are committed to providing our customers with the safest, highest quality products. When we decided to replace inefficient manual processes with food safety and quality automation, SafetyChain quickly became the clear choice. The SafetyChain for Food solution had the modules we needed, and their pricing made it affordable. Most important for me, however, was that their team wasn’t just software salespeople. They had food safety experts and folks who really understood our business, and gave me the confidence that the solution would meet our needs.”
SafetyChain SVP and co-founder, Barbara Levin, commented, “We’re very proud of our team here at SafetyChain. To Jim Bradley’s point, we don’t just sell software – we have experts who have worked in the food industry for many years who help customers best understand how they can automate, streamline and improve food safety and quality assurance. We are very excited to work with the team at ADL to meet their automation goals, and are very pleased to welcome them to SafetyChain customer community.”
Note: ADL respectfully requests there to be no product/service solicitations as a result of this release.
